x10dri-t with single CPU and bifurcation

Hello,

I have a Supermicro x10dri-t with a single CPU populated (to save power). I want to use two U.2 drives pcie adapter (https://www.amazon.com/PCIe-SFF-8639-Adapter-NVMe-SATA/dp/B09WR1ZZVQ) with this. The bifurcation was set on Port 2 since this is the only available x16 slot,


Unfortunately, the motherboard only recognizes one of the U.2 drives. Is this a bug in the firmware?

You want to bifurcate to x4x4x4x4, not x8x8 as highlighted, and use the block diagram in the motherboard manual to verify that the port you chose is actually the x16 slot.

Thank you that was it. After changing to x4x4x4x4 both the drives showed up.
