Not to hijack this thread ;) but if anyone browsing this thread has the non-10 GbE version (x10srm-f), I would be interested in those unless the OP is.

Thread successfully hijacked! Haha

I'm mostly interested in the 10gbe boards.

I have a x99e-itx that runs an ES Intel right now if anyone is interested

These are a generation behind the x11spm-f/tpf/tf, so your capitalizing on falling ddr4 prices and v3 xeons at the moment.

In terms of building a compact system, initially I was looking at the X470DU/X470D4U2-2T, but the board is the stuff of nightmares (according to other users).

There are, of course, the supermicro e-2200 line of MBs but good luck with udimm prices and getting your hands on some of the more desirable e-2200s.

I agree. I just bought a X11SPM-TF that I am going to use with an Intel QL1K (Platinum 8160).

I am trying to rebuild my x11e-itx (need a bigger case) with a QH2N (E5-2650 v4) so that I can replace my old Win 7 machine that currently runs an delidded i5-4690k overclocked to 4.4ghz.
