I am currently on the hunt for a few 10GbE upgrades for my homelab/homenetwork. Items are noted below, and figure I would try here before going to ebay or FS.com

Want(s):
  • Intel X520-DA2 or ConnextX-3 C312B
  • RJ45 -> SFP+ Transciever (for above NIC)

Details/Location:
  • San Francisco Bay Area, CA, USA (Specifically East Bay - Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill Areas)
  • Note, this is my first post in the STH Classifieds, but plenty of feedback under same user name on eBay, heatware, r/homelabsales.

I can check if you're interested...
Thanks for the offer, but shipping would be costly. I can easily to go ebay and pay for something in CONUS.

Hey I have an HP 656244-001 dual port sfp+ card I don't need.
From what I have read/googled some of those Qlogic may have some problems with SM X9 boards. Plus, sounds like they may get toasty.

If you don't have any luck here, my favorite X520/82599 based card on Ebay is the $40-60 SuperMicro AOC-STGN-I2S

Be careful of counterfeit "Intel" cards
Thanks! Yes, that is potentially in the pile of options, especially for an SM X9 board. As to Intel, yes, lots of counterfeits out there. Thankfully, STH has the Intel guide to check details on fakes.
