Edit - I'm all set for now (picked some up).

I'm looking for two of these. I might also be interested in a 480GB S3500.

For the 100GB S3700, looking to pay fair market (comparable to ebay) which is about $70 shipped. I'll go a little higher for STH members if you feel it's appropriate. I don't mind buying these one at a time if you just have one to sell. I do want to use these this week for a project so being able to ship them by tomorrow would be very helpful and maybe we bump up appropriately for 2-day shipping. If anyone is in San Diego we could do local.

If no one has these, I'll go ebay but I'd like to start to build up some buyer/seller rep with you guys!

@Matt Lund I think I have 2 of these. I'll check, I'm up North but can ship Wed. and likely 1 day away from you, 2 at most (in CA still).

I might also be interested in a 400GB or 480GB S3500, S3610, S3700 or S710.
I have 2x S3610 400GB drives available. Dell p/n: 65WJJ. These drives are pulled from a server that was never deployed and only have ~20 hours of total use on each.

Pricing on eBay seems to be all over the place $250 - $600!. Last sale on eBay was for $249/drive (they sold 8 at that price). I can do $235/drive and offer free USPS Priority Shipping from Bay Area, CA.

*Full disclosure* I run a part-time business selling server parts/equipment. My contribution on STH (up to this point ) has been mostly selling on this sub-forum.

The sales history matches what you just said, $249 is probably accurate as the going rate at the moment.

I didn't realize the 3610 commanded so much premium over the 3500. I'd better shop for a 3500, it's adequate for my purpose and quite a bit less expensive. I'll modify my OP.

Also, thanks for the disclosure.

They're stupid priced right now, that's not the standard price. I've never paid over $200 for one, and I may sell them all (6) at $200 here soon!! Consolidating to PCIE drive(s) :D

@T_Minus hopefully you got my PM earlier. I'm a bit new to the site, I used "Start Conversation" - let me know if PMing works differently.

Are you still looking for these? I believe I have a couple that I can sell - but it won't be tomorrow until I can check and see.

Just bought some off ebay a few hours ago after waiting a bit here - thanks though! I'll let you know if I end up needing more but I think I'm all set with the 2 I just bought.

If people happen to have a pair of smallish S3700 SSDs I would be interested for the neighborhood of 70ish/ea.

I have a couple that I just hooked up today to check the life left and firmware. Didn't get a chance to finish up, but looks like both S3700 100GB drives have ~99% life, but need a firmware update. I'll update once I get them updated and a full diagnostic check with the Intel tool.

Checked both drives today. They have 100% life left and successfully pass diagnostics using the Intel SSD Toolbox. Both SSDs are actually HP OEM drives, so I can't use Intel tools to update the firmware. That said, one is already on the latest firmware, and the other is one revision behind. The firmware notes don't indicate anything critical, so I left it as-is. The HP tools to upgrade the firmware don't want to run on Windows 10, but they might on Windows Server or Linux.

eBay prices seem all over the place, but $70 each seems reasonable if anyone is interested. I was going to use the drives as ZFS SLOG devices, but I am just using a set of 480GB Intel SSD DC3500 drives and no SLOG instead. I might keep one, unless someone really wants a pair.
