I also found the old thread and went hunting for them.

There are a lot of off brand products out there on Amazon/Newegg. I'm also looking for 2 of the Intel branded cables as I got a recommendation that they were the most reliable (Wendell @ Level1Techs).

I ordered the one from amazon linked above. Looks to be the same Amphenol branded cable.

Is that amazon listing still the best place to find these, or the best M.2 to U.2 cable option? If any of the sff-8643 to U.2 cables are safe that would work too
