Is there a way to de-solder the whole socket and put a new one in its place?

there are companies for this. they do that as a service.
you can look also on youtube. not realy recommmended because all other components i.e. Resistors & Capacitors can damaged

Looking to purchase a Z10PE-D16 WS mother board for a reasonable price. Looking to be in the $ 450-500 range. Need one for a project I am assembling. Last board I bought had a damaged dimm slot for the memory and had to return it. please ket me know what you have. I see a few people here have some extras laying around.

I am also looking to purchase a Z10PE-D8 WS motherboard. I am based in US and am fine with spending $400-800. I had a previous board but populating the CPU2 slot would prevent it from turning on. I would appreciate if the original retail packaging is included, with its accessories, but that's not a deal breaker.
