Looking for these fairly quickly. I don't want to spend a ton on these but I do want to get a few in the lab. Would rather not spend $215 on a E5-2403 to use for some testing.

Sure the 2643 only has 4C/8T @ 130W TDP and passmark ranks a pair of these on par with a single E5-2680.

But 3Ghz-->3.5; HT; 8GT/s and DDR3-1600 support are nice features of this chip... and (for 2-2643's) you get 80 lanes of PCIe 3.0 for 100 bucks less than the cost of a 3930K...

That opens up a lot of options for a lab environment...

Seems like a pretty nice deal, IMHO.

Nice CPUs. Only issue is that those are the wrong socket. Looking for E5-2400 series which use LGA 1356
