i have one and when i run cpuz and hwinfo it does say ES actually...
The interesting thing is that the only cpu listed with SR1XD is actually the e5-2699 v3 on wiki:

These are pretty elusive, other than the even lower spec QS type @ $600+ on Ebay:

Wow... that's interesting. I'm trying to find my pics of the SR1XD, but I must've deleted them. They were definitely marked as E5-2699 v3. The only difference I see is the higher base clock (2.3 GHz).
