definitely way over my budget and needs, i'd probably utilize 2 of the 100gbe ports and 2-3 breakouts to 10/25gbe - really don't have a use for such a monster. honestly at this point im considering the 4x100gbe mikrotik, seems really tempting other than the lack of RoCE

Nice find! I'm fine with ASRock, but would rather pick up a standalone motherboard since I have a 2u SM chassis that I'd like to repurpose. Might pick it up regardless and use the SM as a JBOD if i can find a power board
This seller always have a good supply of Datto (AsRockRack) servers. I bought a D-1541 some years ago, which is now one of my NAS, in another case, and only had the unpleasant surprise of finding that the bundled RAM was NOT ECC. The system was about the price of the lone motherboard elsewhere, so it was still a fair deal.
