EU WTB 8x : Xeon E5-2600 8-core deals 2650/2660/2670/x?

Hey, i recently purchased a 4 node server that can take dual E5-2600 v1/v2 processors and i was looking for someone that had some spare processors for a good deal /price (don't have lots to spend as a student so any info on deals is very much appreciated aswell!).

Looking for either of the following items 8x

Xeon E5-2650 : 30,-
Xeon E5-2660 : 45,-
Xeon E5-2665 : ?
Xeon E5-2670 : 65,-

The prices are negotiable and i am located in The Netherlands.

Any other suggestions or any other info is welcome as well!

Yes, his prices are only low for the E5-2650, but that is because they have heat spots. His offer was 25EU per processor with heat spots, would you consider that a good / safe deal?

Hm, no idea how/if heatspots would affect the reliability - but 25 / CPU is indeed quite cheap.

I would go with the E5-2660 for $45 to $50 on ebay.

Ebay in Eu prices those at 70 euro per processor

These are ca. 70 EUR / 74 USD in european ebay ... imho 25 per CPU is a quick and cheap way to fill the nodes (initially)

Really hoping for someone that accidentally purchased like 40 E5-2670 at 50 per cpu a year ago

Hm, maybe you have luck, i have a total of 8 E5-2670, where two are 'spares' / currently not in their sockets but can't access them atm.

I´d think about 4x 2650 for cheap and wait for deals, maybe focus on v2 CPU.
Guess if you have time you can get some for quite nice price on eBay.

Hey Alex, i remember you How do you feel about the pricing on the v2s? Looks like you can buy 8 x 2650 for one v2 right.

Well, for the v2 guess you need some patience but it`s for sure possible to find some. Bought a 1620 v2 quite cheap last year with BO.
I have 2x 2603v2 (or 2609v2 - not sure) left, would sell them for ca. € 80 if you're interested. Didn't manage to sell them yet on eBay.

But personally, i`d not buy them but go for the 2650v1 instead
