I bought this, while it's close to the $50 per module range, I am not complaining. As of this reply, they're $47 a module.

Thanks for the link. Maybe I just need validation that $50 isn't too high - i thought I've seen them much lower but that was when I wasn't looking. You're happy with that set?

I am happy with the set, this has been the going rate since the plandemic. I have had no issues with these modules, running at advertised speeds.

It seems DDR4 has gone up - I was able to get some at $45/RDIMM from a forum member. Now I just need to find a pair of E5-2680V4s for less than $300!

What brand did it end up being? and I assume they worked in whatever X10 board you have?

They are Samsung, they work flawlessly in both the SuperMicro X10DRU-i+ and the X10DRD-LT boards.
