Any good options right now? Closest thing I'm really seeing is Intel s3510's on eBay listed at $120 for 1.2TB, but would like to keep it under a bill per drive if possible for something similar, or edge closer to 2TB if I'm going over that.

Intended use is VM storage in TMM nodes.

This is really interesting, thanks for the heads up! I’m curious though, why would someone structure the listing this way... to avoid/minimize seller fees?

eBay started charging the same seller fees on shipping ages ago, so they probably think they're gaming the system when they really aren't.

Or as chinesestuna mentioned above, a way to reduce your refund if you open a dispute. I think most everyone knows fees set on total cost (including shipping), at least obvious to me when I have listed anything.
