So, one of my WL 2TB drives is in pre-failure. Not sure how long the goHardDrive warranty is, but I'm 99.9999% sure they are out of said warranty. Do you think it is worth trying to get another identical WL 2TB to replace it, or try to convince the wife than I need 2 3TB drives to replace both of them (and then put the 2TB drive in my desktop to replace the dog slow 750GB WD Blue it has for games)? The drives are attached to a HP P410/256 w/ BBU in a HP N40L MicroServer running Server 2012 R2. Thankfully everything is backed up to Crashplan, but restores take forever so I'd prefer not to have to restore.

Option 2, I vote option 2 :) You NEED those 2x3TB drives, there's some good WL 3TB ones in the Great Deals forum

You don't need to replace it with an identical drive. Just needs to be same size or bigger. For example, you could buy a used toshiba 2TB and rebuild with that.

I actually sent a message to goHardDrive on eBay since they aren't a year old yet.
