A unbranded crappy quality under $7.00 usb programmer with zero documentation in the package that needed an "adapter" board assembled and using a program downloaded off the Internet from a you-tube video........

What could go wrong?

Well I copied the good bios chip then reinserted it back in its node and it works, so I flashed the blanked bios chip and now its verifying.

It verified ok so......

Plugged it in, installed video card and plugged in the keyboard powered up and IT WORKS!!:D

Well it did not boot, booted off the 17.04 server disc and entered rescue mode and reinstalled grub.

That node works now and is back to hashing.

Apparently the bios chips I ordered off ebay are different even tho the markings are the same.

I tried to flash one as a backup and it fails verification.:(

EDIT: I erased the chip and reflashed it and now it verifies!!

Now I have a spare.
