I just updated the Windows 10 pro workstations I was using for network testing to the latest Windows 10 pro for Workstations. That enabled SMB Direct mode which makes use of RDMA along with other useful features. That is great, but Ntttcp and the other network tests I was using are not taking advantage of RDMA, which make those tests no longer representative of network performance.

I am getting much better performance out of my workstation to workstation network backups using robocopy. In fact robocopy now has better performance using only one thread.

Any ideas for better network tests to use instead of ntttcp and iperf?
