Will it be compatible?

Hello guys,
I will try to keep my question short . Planning to upgrade my supermicro X10DRH-CT motherboard with a new CPU .
E5-2650L v4 . But the cores is more than supermicro's product page (22 cores) Supermicro | Products | Motherboards | Xeon® Boards | X10DRH-CT.
So my question is will it work ?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that will work. I think the specs on the Supermicro page refer to the cores per socket, and the E5-2650LV4 has 14.

I think the actual limiting factor there is usually the TDP, for instance SM says the E5-2696V4 (150 TDP) is not compatible with the X10DRW and X10DRH-CT etc. because their max TDP is 145. I don't know if their "not compatible" means "we suggest not doing this because things get hot" or "it won't boot at all and is broken".
