Oh, I'm not really certain what that means aside from the fact that a cheap pair of shades and a fidget spinner are odd. Apologies for my ignorance.

they are seriously overpriced; charging 30-50% premium on hardware. A lot of companies are stuck with old resellers, and they've never looked for alternatives.

An r640
2x gold 6138
256GB DDR4 2666MHz
2x PSU 750W
Idrac enterprise

would cost 15-20k from them, while you can get same spec (maybe even better) for around 5-7k

While also sometimes putting wrong memory sticks; or once our company ordered 128GB ddr3 server - but they've only gave 2x64GB sticks... (thank god - i don't have to deal with them anymore.)

... They just seem expensive and honestly kinda sketch now.
They are actually quite "sketch" and it's in the companies DNA. I've been doing some research and found a few things on them which really shows their true colors.

2013 - Non-profit association has an explosive relationship with big recyclers | Vancouver Sun
2018 - They were investigated by the Basel Action Network (BAN) for sending e-waste to third world countries and more... Export_of_e-Waste_from_Canada_-_A_Story_as_Told_by_GPS_Trackers_Print.pdf (erai.com)
2018 - ERA allegedly took photos of BAN investigators and had them threatened with "large dogs".
2018 - ERA sued BAN
2019 - ERA dropped the lawsuit because previous cases against BAN were ending up with the plaintiffs going to jail. Canada's Electronics Recycling Association Drops Defamation Suit Against BAN — Basel Action Network

I don't trust for a second that they are actually non profit. I don't trust for a second that they are acting ethically overall. My experience with Calgary's operation and some of their employees behavior just solidifies my concerns.

Wow, more reason to ignore their eBay/Facebook Marketplace posts. Thanks for the interesting reads. By the by, I'm in the Calgary area too.
