A coupler won't help. Transceivers require unpinned connectors. If OP has unpinned connector at the wall, they will need an assembly with pinned connector on that end. Regardless they will need a trunk cable to connect to the wall, then another patch cable to complete the connection. OP can skip the trunk and get an even rarer cable where one connector is pinned and the other is unpinned. Do it right and use a proper trunk cable assembly for infrastructure, and don't worry about the patch cables: they can all be female and method A or B.
Taking apart the connector could be done, but there's a chance of damaging it. If OP is using multi mode they can use MTP-Pro assemblies and change either polarity and/or gender. Changing characteristics requires a special tool.
If OP wants to use single mode changing polarity isn't possible without the correct (aligned/opposing key) coupler.
