Who just got Google ChromeCast?

For $35 - I bought one for a 1080p I got before SmartTV was invented:

I bought one too. On the Home Automation forums this was duly noted. Please do remind me if and when we launch.

Kind of stinks that it doesn't have streaming (airplay,widi) and 2.4ghz single band. I find it hard to stream on that busy band at 720p. At least you have 4 services you can use ?

At least with amazon you can return it if you don't like it and free prime shipping/no tax.

Here's my position: for $35 it is easy to replace next year and less expensive/ easier than AppleTV by a lot. Maybe next year 802.11ac.

And Amazon taxes in a lot os states.

here's my position - my apple tv 2 sells for $200 on ebay and I paid half for it ..

It comes with 3 months of netflix credit, so if you use them knock $24 off.

For $16 net shipped I'll try it out.
