I have a Supermicro MBD-X10SDV-TLN4F-O with a Xeon D-1540.

I've loaded Ubuntu 14.04 on it.

Under Linux, I can only see em1 and em2. (ifconfig -a knows only of em1, em2, lo, and virbr0).

How do I get access to the other two? (Forgetting about the fifth IPMI port).

Do I need to load a kernel module? Turn something on in the BIOS?

Thanks!

Well my guess you need a driver. Spec says this mb have 2 1gb and 2 10gb ports. You see the 1gb ports, I am not sure what you need to do to use 10gb ports under linux.
Bios would be my best first choice, it very well might be that the 10gb ports are off by default.

IIRC the old 14.04 required the Intel 10Gb driver to be loaded. I am not 100% sure if 14.04.3 has the newer Intel driver installed. If you tried 15.10 I bet you would see all of them out of the box as it includes the newer 10Gb driver.
