I'm sick of Amazon shipping out defective returned goods as new. Looking for a better source.

TIA

I have had decent luck with both Newegg and Amazon. It just depends on the seller. I hate buying from third party sellers on both platforms. Make sure what you buy on Amazon is bought through prime and be sure you are getting Amazon's return process and policy. Not all Amazon sellers follow Amazon's process or policy and they are to be avoided like the plague. Same for weird sellers on Newegg.

I abandoned Newegg a long time ago. They were once the best but sadly, those days are gone.

I haven't bought from Provantage in a long time, I'll have to get reacquainted, thanks.

eBay customer support is the best but eBay is loaded with questionable sellers so wasted time is always a possibility but I still buy quite a bit.

- NewEgg
- B&H
- Adorama
- Provantage
- Ebay <-- or a seller like NewEgg, BH, etc, on ebay!
- Amazon for small\misc items, although I will order a CPU from time to time

What everyone wants doesn't exist, a Sweetwater for PC and Server parts would be great!! Their sales people, tech people, etc... are so smart and helpful compared to most all other stores these days!

I just had the worst luck with ddr4 ram, from reputable sellers.
Bought 4 sticks, one arrived bad, but the sticks were well padded.
Bought 1 stick, arrived in padded envelope shapped like a banana.
Finally got the 4th stick, again in a padded envelope but not a banana and functional.

I'll second Provantage, although their prices aren't as low compared to other stores as they used to be.
Also, Wiredzone is good. I've bought from there a bit. PCNation isn't as good, but like Wiredzone, often has things in stock that other stores don't.
