I've found a couple, however, they are all over $200 so any other options would be much appreciated.

I want to put a Threadripper 3955WX in my chassis but I need at least 2x8-pin 12V connectors it appears and 3 of them if I go ASUS WS Pro.

If all you need is 2 x 8 pin EPS connectors to power the CPUs, what you have should be good to go.

I’m not familiar with SM PDBs that have 3 x 8 pin EPS.

Yeah I need 2x8pin EPS and 1x8pin PCIE if I want to go with the ASUS or Supermicro motherboards so the current PDU in the chassis won't work.

The PDB in the title has 4x8pin EPS connectors so I'm covered on those, however, I'm going to have to convert 1 of them to the 8pin PCIE.

I'm thinking this looks like a good solution but I don't want to kill a $1K motherboard.

See if the housing for the below is compatible with your chassis

This has the PCIe power connectors in addition to EPS.

825/826/216/836 share many of the chassis components. PDBs being one of them with a caveat - The housing.

I'm trying this one now as the PDB-PT836-B4824 is a no go.

Yes, it fits in theory, however, there's no way to get the cables out the front of the chassis to the backplane while inserting the PDB into the proper location. It's impossible and Supermicro was wrong
