I know a few of you got in on the $119 deal and HAVE to be sitting on them, kalleyomalley had like 900+, sold less than 50 then they 'disappeared'. I asked them a week or so if they still had any and just got some short reply like 'all gone'. Wonder where they landed...prolly in @dba's stockpile :p

Still to this day pissed off that I didn't get in on that deal for 4-8 of those...grrr, sorry just a Saturday rant.

To those of you who did get in on that STEAL, how are they treatin' ya?

My regret is that I only purchased 4 ssd , should have purchased 24 x.
ROFLMAO, yeah me too buddy, I'd have been fine 4-8 though for a good bit, at that rate those were almost giveaways and we all know they are rock solid in the sustained performance department.

Wonder if that will EVER happen again and where the hell those 900+ units kalleyomalley was sittin' on went?

Good stuff!

OMG imagine three 8 disk ssd raid-10's hangin' off of seperate 12G sas HBA's...thing would be BEAST...guess though when you look at a 2-4 disk NVMe ent ssd setup it would probably be comparable?

Yep, done this type of thing. After using my 800gb P3700 for a bit, I would take the NVMe drive every time! NVMe is fast as heck!!!
