What uses Intel QuickAssist in Rangeley

I'm going to buy either an Intel Atom C2750 or C2758 Supermicro motherboard. I saw this video on QuickAssist:

Talks about what QA is, but doesn't tell you how I can see the difference.

Only things I have seen are Snort v2.9 and 6WIND. So I'm guessing if you were using snort with pfsense in a VM, then you would get acceleration on that right?

Anyone have an idea on how I could test it? If someone can give me a procedure, I can buy one and run for you.

Crazy. Can't find much either. Seems like snort benchmarking is something "everybody does" but there is no good way to go about it.
