In some ways your right but I know a lot of people that’s just fine.Or if you're Apple, sell a machine that's handicapped by pitiful storage that you can never never EVER upgrade. The just-announced MBA and Mac Mini start at 128GB in 2018???
I lived with 256gb MacBook Air for years and my recent replacement MacBook Pro only has 512gb, I run a few VM’s including a full windows 10 with all MS apps. Ok you say that’s a lot more than 128gb but as I said 2 full systems + others and I am for sure a higher usage than a lot.
