What server is STH running on

I noticed that STH forum and site are noticeably faster than typical web sites. I know this site is all about high end computer server/switches so it must be on some extremely powerful servers. Just curious what exact platform it is on right now?

Maybe the whole thing is in memory?

A great topic idea.

I think we have a Xeon E5 V3 server and a Xeon E5 V4 (2698/2699 SKUs).

Everything else is 1st gen Xeon scalable or EPYC 7001 at this point. We are usually a generation behind.

The key is really Optane SSDs, lots of RAM, and doing at least some work to minimize external loads. We serve ads mostly out of our own domain at this point.

STH is runing on xenForo

This post talks about the how to speed up xenForo. I think the server side caching is the server side rendering.

I am wondering if there is enough RAM, the whole site can be loaded into RAM.
Code is about 500MB, database 300GB, Total 500GB can easily fit into 1TB of ram
