Hey,

I'm just wondering if someone can tell me who owns one of these boards what kind of BIOS options there are, specifically:

I'm wondering if I can clock the ram to 2666Mhz (I have ram that speed and it'd be a shame to have it limited to 2133Mhz)

Along the same lines, are there any options for overclocking the bus or processor? I'm building a router and am trying to get all the speed I can out of the thing for 10Gb ethernet.

Thanks!
Avery

Which variant of the board do you have, that is half the model number?

You are limited by the cpu's support.

The X10SDVs are the Supermicro Xeon D boards - they're all Xeon D.

I was thinking of getting the 1508 flex-atx variant: X10SDV-2C-TP4F

What do you mean by 'limited by cpu's support' exactly?

Edit: Oh you didn't realize these were all Xeon D boards - I get it. Yeah I'm trying to find out what kind of support there is for the Xeon D to overclock or increase ram clock speed.
