Don't we love Amazon Prime's free "2-day shipping"? "Estimated delivery: May 29, 2019 - June 5, 2019"

Shortly after 6TB drives came out Best Buy listed them on eBay for $69.99. It was obviously a pricing error but they honored it any way. Best HD deal I ever scored. Hope you guys have the same luck with Amazon.

Let's hope they honor this.
As much as I’d like them to, I sincerely doubt it. This has now made the rounds on various deal sites and from all accounts, people have been ordering them in quantity.

I wouldn’t expect that Amazon will ship thousands of them at around half the average sale price. Typically, any pricing mistake shared this far and wide results in cancellation emails for anyone that didn’t get the first few shipped out under the radar.

Of course, I hope I’m wrong!

I am hopefully optimistic that these will eventually be shipped. There were a few comments on redit that some of these were shipped in Europe.

Usually they are but I think there are some which are built to prevent chucking.

So the q relates to a confirmation for these specific model... can you confirm it for these?

I saw this in the comments, can anyone confirm ?

can you disassemble it for an internal hdd?
Answer:
no. unless you connect it to a USB header. it does not have a SATA connector.
That comment is correct. Western Digital's Passport external drives have, for some time, only had a single USB connection on the internal drive's PCB. If you remove the 2.5" drive from the enclosure, it still needs to be hooked up via USB; there is not a SATA header on the drive. There is no "USB to SATA" adapter to remove; it is all built into the drive's PCB, unfortunately.
