Are they reds for sure?
a whole topic on slickdeals hasn't been wrong, and all 12 I bought so far, plus 4 for a coworker, have been. If you aren't sure, or worried, the USB adapter inside the case actually passes through the drive id, so when you plug the whole USB drive into your machine, it comes back as "WD80EFZX....." which if you google, is a Red, so you can be sure before you shuck...which if done right, is reversible.

Perfect thank you so much, I also did find a subreddit somewhere about how to look it up and Linux but this seems way easier thank you for your time.

No worries. FWIW too, this is a decent price. I bought all mine on Cyber Monday for 149.99/ea, I'm waiting a little longer to buy the last 12 i need to fill my chassis so as to get drives from different lots, but at this near-BF/Cyber Monday price, might just pick 6 more up.

Enjoy!

I went with 6TB from another sale on here and found a plethora of 6TB drives that I had for another project. Honestly I have no more room for more drives and still have 25TB of space to fill and not entirely how many more Linux Isos I can download to fill it.

4k HDR x265 Linux ISOs can add up really fast@ 40-60GB/ISO.

I got 5 reds, 2 whites and 1 DOA. The "whites" are reds, seems some are 128mb cache and some are 256, I got a white with one of each. All the reds are 256mb cache.

Check the reddit link I posted earlier...

Thank you Best Buy for not having my 4K TV in stock so I can't go down this path of suffering
:D
Got a 65" LG OLED B7A for 1600$ on BF...couldn't resist at that price. Now I'm...paying the price.

Did you get the -NEBB versions? the NEBB versions are bestbuy exclusive, and are whites, the -NESN ones are supposedly ALL reds, unless they changed something recently.

OH MY GOD HOW?!?!?!! This is the one I wanted and that's $1000 off the sticker price.

It was in a slick deals thread. OEM was like 3200$. Beachcamera was selling it for BF for 2099, free shiping. My credit card then price matched it down to 1649 something because I found it listed for like an hour at that price on another site (less reputable). I actually saw another non-reputable site that was selling it for 1500, but my credit card would only price match 500 less than the price you paid, so I wasn't worrying about another 50$.

3200$ TV for 1649 :) . Free shipping...and it's GORGEOUS
