I haven't but with the 10TB drives being so much cheaper, I think most here are doing 10TB drives instead. With 10TB around $160 with deals you're at $16/TB. With 12TB for $280 you're at $23.33/TB. The incremental 2TB is $60/TB.

Got it from Amazon UK for round about 240$. But first in late september.
And in Germany the 10TB versions costs about 200$. So not as cheap as in the US.

The 8TB when on sale at their lowest are the cheapest per GB (barely) ~ which I'm hoping for this holiday season.
8TB - $15/tb - $119.99
10TB - $16/tb - $159.99

According to documentation at westerndigital.com, there is also (or soon to be) a 14 TB version with the model number: WDBCKA0140HBK-NESN. Look here:
https://shop.westerndigital.com/pro...ystore-desktop-usb-3-0-hdd#WDBCKA0140HBK-NESN

Don't see it for sale anywhere, but I suppose it will be available for purchase soonish.

Currently (October 17), the 8 and 10 TB versions are on sale:

WDBCKA0080HBK-NESN: 159.99 USD (was 199.99 USD)
WDBCKA0100HBK-NESN: 199.99 USD (was 249.99 USD)

WDBCKA0120HBK-NESN (12 TB) is not on sale. Still at 279.99 USD.

I could sure use a couple of 14 TB WD Easystore-drives for my NAS. Hope they are shuckable.

For the 8TB I'd pay $130. For the 10TB I'd pay $160.

Last year the 10TB came out shortly before the Black November sales ($180 with throw-in 32GB USB drive), so I'd wait a bit to see if the 12TB will be sold for $180.

Don't hold up hope for the 14TB to be available this year. The 10TB was listed on WD's website for almost a year before it was actually available.
