I've been watching these to shuck for drives to populate my little home CEPH cluster as some of the pricing appears to finally be recovering from Chiapocalypse. I was just about to buy this drive for 271$ from Amazon when I got the email for this Deal Zone deal at B&H. 18.5$/TB

It'll show as 379$ with a 120$ off coupon when you put it in the cart.

I think you can even get a bit more off if you use their card as they have some deal where they discount the sales tax using their credit card but I've never looked into it.

I got several of the 10TB versions back before the Chia boom for $15.50/TB.

They all required that freakin hack of covering the pin on the connect to work in my SAS2 backplane of the SC846. I didn't get the nicer drivers.

Limit 4 if I am not mistaken (for the coupon).
My next NAS build is 10 drives so waiting on a deal without a limited quantity, hopefully price will continue to go down.

Mine just arrived today and I got it shucked. WD140EDGZ with a build date of Mar 28th 2021. It's currently spinning away in my R210ii and didn't require any modification.
