Is anyone here using Asus Control Center Express? Do you recommend to use it? Online reviews were not very good and my board didn't come with one since I bought a used board.

Notes on the Asus PRO WS W790-ACE:

• 5x total CPU PCIe slots (x16/x16/x16/x8/x8), with 4x usable CPU PCIe x16 slots when using a dual-slot GPU (x16/x16/x16/x0/x16).. The GPU must be in slot 3 to not block another x16 slot. A second dual-slot GPU will block an additional slot, unless you can fit it in the last slot at the bottom of the case without impacting the connectors.

How exactly did you get all gpu's running at x16? In my bios only lanes 1/2/3 are running at 16x and for the other i can only select x8 or x4x4. Did you also face this?

The manual shows “configuration 1” nets slots 1,2,3 and ,5 at 16x. Slot 4 is disabled in this setup.

Configuration 2 is as you describe, 1,2,3 at 16x, slots 4 and 5 at 8x.

So in the bios, you probably have to set slot 4 to disabled or 0X bandwidth.
