VRM 4+1Any idea about Asus Z11PA-D8? Support page says "1st and 2nd Gen Xeon® Scalable Processor Family (165W)"
CPU support list includes Platinum 82xx up to 165W
most likely, but not confirmed. One more, what about Gigabyte MD61-SC2 ? It's discontinued, but the QVL list shows support for several 205W 82xx CPU's, like 8268, 8270 etc..

Thanks for the quick replay will push the moded bios per your instructions and see were I end up. For now with bios 2.1 that I was using for my ES chip the new 8259CL is not posting and in the IPMI I only see FF on the postyes.

now updated the GUIDE for BIOS 4.0Anyone have that 3.9 bios laying around?
Thanks that was quick. Will try this out soon. But at the moment bios updates seem to not work on my board. I run the Bios update via the IPMI or SUM and seem to stay stuck to 2.1 bios after power cyle? So could have a bad board or a other issue to figure out first?now updated the GUIDE for BIOS 4.0
