VRM modify ICC_MAX to run high TDC OEM cpu

Hello! May I ask if there is a solution for the Sugon I620-G30 with the motherboard model 60P24-US Rev R1.1?

Hello, I see that you are using Sugon i620-g30, Do you have a copy of this motherboard's BIOS? I'm really trying to find a BIOS that supports the 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. I contacted the Sugon by telephone. They say that they don't provide support for over warranty devices, which means that they don't provide BIOS too. It would be really helpful if you have any suggestions, clues or BIOS!

First at all many Thanks to @RolloZ170. Nice work and instructions.

Flashed a Dell R740, working with 2 * Xeon Platinum 8272CL, full Ram slots. Latest BIOS/Updates installed.
No power on / boot needed. Install CPUs, then power cables plugged in, wait a bit for idrac to boot. Then use the tool from RolloZ170. If you are used to, 5 mins and you are done.


I still have a Fujtsu Primergy RX2540 M4.
(Just as a reminder: RX25x0 M4 -> Xeon x1yy, RX25x0 M5 -> Xeon x2yy. No Bios mod possible.)

Would like to run Xeon Platinum 8171M. As already mentioned here (#99-#102) VRMs are the MP2955A, even 6+1 i can confirm.
But... No pinout (datasheet) of the VRM controller, empty SMT header.

Does anybody has a plan to find out how to test/measure the pinout? Have the server available and a current meter.

I like the Fujtsu RX2540 Servers quite a lot. NVMe Boot since M1 with standard NVMe, very low power usage, not "limits" for CPUs/RAMs. KVM Mod possible. Very durability.

35 SDA_P D[I/O] PMBus data signal.
36 SCL_P D PMBus clock signal.
