So...
The host:
HPE DL180 Gen9 running ESXi 6.5U3, and it has a 3.0 USB controller.
2 ports in the back,1 in front,1 internal, and maybe SD-card reader use one to.
I have a issue whit USB passthrough in EXSi.
I have activated the passthrough on the device in the host.
i have added the USB controller to the VM, the VM(win10) is showing the USB controller in device manager
But it dosent see the devices connected to it. i have tried a mouse and usb stick.
I have tried other ways to:
i have removed the PCI device for VM and turned off the passthrough. rebooted.
Then added a USB device to the VM, and only option i have is to a "fast memory card reader" that i think is the internal SD slot.
so why cannot i se other devices?
are the host grabbing them and not passes them through to VM?
i have searched the interweb and what google said would work, i have tried.
