I need Video card recommendations. We had a power outage last night, the generator kicked on but the UPS still didn't think had power (that's a separate issue) so all the computers kicked and things didn't stabilize for about an hour. But anyway the workstation shut off and I couldn't get it back on until I swapped video cards. The card that's the issue I think is GTX 950 (i think). So anyway everything is working now but i using a Radeon 6450 i have it's a 1 gig card. So anyway i think 950 may be bad or have bad drivers or both. So i want to get a new card - I'm looking for recommendations. I was think a GTX 1060 just from a price stand point. I Don't Game or mine and really only do Photoshop and video editing at this point.

Board is X8DAH and dual 5680s

Depends if you want to upgrade to a 4K monitor in the near future. If so, a 1080 is the minimum requirements.
I have a 1070 and it is awesome but as I don't want 4k that's what I got, it would struggle to do it anyway.

I have a 1070 and I'm able to do 4k fine. I'm currently running a pair of 4k monitors and depending on the game I run it either at 4k or 1080p.

Sorry, I meant to say for - 4k gaming in ultra high detail settings, you'd find the 1070 would struggle.

I know. You'll note that I said I'm able to play most games at 4k. Admittedly, I mostly play older games but the 1070 is still a good card.

No one said the 1070 wasn't a good card but what I said was playing 4K games in ultra high. You must be blind or just can't read English....

Old games in 4K? BS!

And how much of a difference is there between a 1060 and 1070 for non gamer like me. I mean a 1060 can drive 4k whenever i move from 3440x1440 to 4K right?

No difference. I was running dual 4k monitors off of my 770 and the only problem was that I was stuck at 30fps due to not having the newest versions of DP and HDMI.
