Used Areohive AP370 for use at home

Hi All,
I want to upgrade/extend my home wifi and found some used Aerohive AP370's, which are cloud controlled (i.e pay subscription) Wireless AP's. I dont want to buy the subscription, would i be able to program them using theconsole port or via putty?

I have an Aerohive switch around here somewhere. I used their free tier not to long ago to set it up. You don't get all the features, but you get the basics, which may be enough. It used to be called "connect" for the free one vs "select" for the paid tier.

I believe they changed the name to MyHive
