Transferring video footage (4GB files) on Windows from USB to my desktop I noticed a performance difference that seems odd.

What could possibly cause this?
Background:
- Win10 \ 5900x \ 32GB \ Optane Boot\OS\App drive
- I transferred part of my video footage to one drive and part to the other once completed. (Same port, same memory card, etc...)
- Both SSD and NVME are used for storage only. (No VMs, Apps, etc, running from them)
- The faster transfer occurred after the first, once the drive was warm -- but switching back to SSD, it did not go >125.
- Transferring to 400GB SSD (S3610) I was maxed out at 125MB\s.
- Transfering to 1TB NVME (P4510) I was maxed out at 165MB\s
