I built several Epyc Workstations using H11DSi mobos, 7f52 high frequency Epyc processors and PopOS. These machines are fantastic for the CFD work I do. However, after some of the machines have been on for several days the usb ports sometimes stop working (as if they went to sleep). I can ssh into the machine and power cycle the ports but I can’t bring them back to life. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

There was an option for sleeping when battery power is in use. Deactivating this seems to have fixed the problem, which is odd since the machine hasn’t had to rely on battery backup power from my ups. Looks like I don’t have to fudge with grub settings.
