Located in the US, 4pcs available at time of writing.

Somebody else (not me) has already bought 12pcs at once...

8175M (SR3FU) is a 24C Skylake LGA3647 CPU. Presumably AWS OEM and Stepping H0 (Rollo probably knows more details)

Warning: The 8175M seems to have 240W TDP, so it won't run on many standard LGA3647 platforms / motherboards!

Awesome price for the CPU's, but are there any "cheap" motherboard options?

SuperMicro X11SPM boards are all $450++ from what I can see :(

X11SPi don't start 8124M
there is no supermicro available for end customers with 240W support.
but the to high TDP is not the reason at all, these processors seems to activate the overcurrent fault of the VRM.

240W support:
all ASRock Rack EPC621,EP2C621
Gigabyte MU71,MD71
and some others.

the X11SPM can run (lower clocked) 240W ES
i have ran a W-3245(205W) on my X11SPM-F but the all core turbo was not as it expected because the motherboard limits at about 200Watts.
probably this can be prevented by a tweaked BIOS.
but all 240W OEM prod.units CPU do NOT run on a X11SPM without VRM modd.

Hello, I just got two of these processors. Could you please point me to a good price range Motherboard that fully supports them?

intel S2600BPx, S2600WF(T) needs VRM reprogram.
supermicro X11 needs VRM reprogram.
ASRock EPC EP2C
Gigabyte MU71 MD71, C621-WD12-IPMI

I´ve never reprogramed a VRM, is it straight forward with some kind of application? I have 3 days to return the processors and I would like to know if its doable and 100% reliable. Thanks for your answer.

Seems like a lot of hassle for not much gain; you can buy a QQ89 for $285 which runs in any motherboard and also has 31x all core turbo. Are there any AVX512-enabled applications other than dense matrix benchmarks which run faster on the 240W SKUs?

Thank you so much man, you are a hell of an advance user / engineer.
I'm still deciding if reprogramming the CRM with your help, thanks a lot for offering, or return all and be safe.
There has to be done phisical stuff to the motherboard? Is it possible if I don't have a working processor to make the changes etc.

just temporäry solder two cables on the 3pin header, get ground from USB header.

without CPU/RAM, just the PSU in standby you can access the two VRM controlers ( Primarion/Infineon PXE1610C )
you need Adafruit MCP2221a device ( easy with my c# console app x86)
