Have 8 nodes nodes for a Supermicro 6028TR-HTR. CPUs still installed. Have a pair of chassis too, but they were damaged during shipping.

Also have a single node from a Supermicro 6038R-DE2CR16L. CPUs still installed.

I have 12 8 4U computer cases. Local pickup only in north los angeles.

They are empty except for a dvd drive, some fans and some metal to mount front drives.
There is a front panel with 4 removable 3.5" drive mounts, though there is no backplane for the drives.
The usual power and reset switch and some front panel leds and the wiring for them.
Takes a standard atx power supply, which is not included.
Roughly 2 feet deep.
They co have robust rack handles in the front.
No rack slides.
One doesn't have a top, but the rest do.
I can provide photos if desired.
Take as many as you want.

Have a Supermicro 213A-R740WB chassis + X9SRW-F motherboard. Has a CPU and some RAM too. This WIO system will let you run a full length double slot GPU in 2U (plus more).

Thanks, but it won't work for my application. I need a Sandy Bridge 4c8T with iGPU as a replacement for my QNAP NAS. I have a Xeon E3-1275, but was looking for a 1260L to get a little less power consumption

Have you considered trying to look at Ivy Bridge parts? If I were to guess the move from 32nm to 22nm will probably be more impactful on power consumption.

I have. From all of my reading, Ivy Bridge isn't compatible, although I haven't tried it (no ivy bridge to test with)

1. 4x 2.5" caddy - I believe Cisco chassis, unsure which gen (the drives were Cisco branded/marked)

I can do that, just pay shipping. Let's switch to a PM. For context the RAM is ECC UDIMM so not sure if that will work for your project.
