[US-CA] [FT] Engineering Sample (?!) Lenovo SR655

I have a somewhat obscure engineering sample of a SR655 2U system - this is a 1P Epyc 7002/7003 server. It has the special feature of *not PSB locking* your CPU despite being a Lenovo. Unfortunately the configuration it came with (8LFF front + LFF rear cage) isn't what I'm looking for, and parts to build out the rear with PCIe slots instead of drive cages ended up being a pain to find.

I'd like to try for a local trade (SF Bay Area) for an equivalent Dell system, or an AM5 combo - any bites?

maybe buy a another SR655 and swap it out to nvme + 2.5" sas front and rear? then sell that chassis on the bay?

Hah, if I had a CPU for it I'd put up a firmware dump. Anyone familiar with Lenovo systems know what exactly has to be dumped? Presumably it would be good to preserve an UEFI image plus whatever they use for management.

look inside, it seem the FW chips are socketed. it not easy to dump the whole contents of the FW from the OS.
better use a external programmer
