Hi,
I have bought myself a x8dti with 24GB Ram.
According to the label inside it should be a x8dti-f, but looking at the specs the x8dti card with 4+ lan ports is x8dti-ln4f.. My card have 4+ lans.. I guess it's not all that important for ram choices as it seems they have the same ram spec.
Link to manual. (ram is on pg 31)
I want to upgrade to 96 or 192GB Ecc. Reg. RAM, and with two 5600 cpus on it i understand I need 1.5V sticks if I go 192GB but can use 1,35V sticks if I'm going for 96GB to get the highest speed.
The choices for tested ram on supermicros mainboard page does not list tested 1.5V sticks. Is it implied that if it's not 1.35V then it's 1.5V?
