Also as I type this I am installing 18.04 desktop with the minimum install option on my dual E5-2620 "server".

Well it reminded me why I do not like Gnome 3............that plus error's keep popping up is the reason i'm staying with 16.04.3 on a desktop, 18.04 server works just fine so far.
