The feet are 3/8 inch and the total height is a hair less than 8 1/4 inches

Just finished a build for my friend using E3-1245v3, X10SLL-F, 32GB RAM, 8x WD Red 4TB and a cheapo Fujitsu SAS2008 HBA that I cross-flashed to IT mode. It came with a bunch of screws for 2.5" drives but it seems like there is only room for 1 on the fan bracket. Cable management can be a little difficult but didn't pose too much problem. FreeNAS, Docker host VM and bunch of containers, everything worked out perfectly and snappy.

Has anyone run a mini-itx board in the 810A ? is it possible to run one in it ?
Looking to use a supermicro Xeon-D mobo that I already have, in here and use pci-e bifurcation to use a HBA and a chelsio 10g card.

Yes you can. There's also room for 2 expansion cards but you need ribbon cables to install them.

I don't think you will be able to fit a pcie bifurcation card + 2 cards in the case. There is space only for 2 expansion cards.

Actually I'm not sure about the bifurcation part too. But ribbon cables work for sure.

The case came in, and it looks like it might just work.
I'm trying to upload pics, but it keeps erroring out.

So far it seems like it might fit, just the upper slot might need some modifications on the bracket side.

Well looks like that made it. This is still a rough test.
Contemplating if I should take everything apart and redo the SAS cables.

Overall though, the 810A seems a little bit deeper than the 800 and a wee bit taller. Width is still the same.

@K D the part I used is - ARC1-PELY423-C5V3
Although I should've used the one facing away from the processor, or maybe even the non-ribbon'd one (not sure if it exists)
Bought it directly from Ameri-Rack

So does a mini-ITX motherboard definitely fit in these things?

Yep. Although I think its a waste of space (that could be used for other things).
I would rather put a mATX board in it. Those flex-atx xeon-d boards look appropriate for this chassis.
I'm still building mine. Waiting for Noctua fans.

Is the 810, which is meant for a mini-ITX board, comparable to the 810A? The only reason I ask is because I was thinking about getting the Supermicro-X10SDV-4C-TLN4F-O for its power efficiency, but I also really like the U-NAS chassis look.
