Nope it goes from BMC straight to The Intel Boot Agent which gets stuck on my machine and even if it succeeds I never got to the bios.

i bet AfuEfix64 does not accept a modified BIOS.
is there a BIOS flash function in the BMC WebGUI ?
Yup and it flashes everything without validation!
Yes im on an AMD platform but this driver is a PXE boot thingy from the onboard Intel nic.
tyan must be the only motherboard without BIOS access over 15pin VGA with fatcory settings (CSM on) then, strange.
clear CMOS should force to BIOS in any case.
how got you BMC access without BIOS access to create a user ?
BIOS defaults of 4.04 are very inconsistent, Secure Boot is enabled Failsafe,
in that case CSM should not be active even if enabled.
I already had access I upgraded from Rome and everything was set up. Yeah well I cleared CMOS multiple times and removed the battery but it kept loading in old-school CSM mode.
Crazy right? Sadly the board is EOL so I doubt they will fix it. I chased 4.04 for months until it got released. I wonder why it just hangs with CSM on Milan though.
Are you running 4.04 on the rev 1.0 of the motherboard? (ie the one with the 32MB BMC chip) ?

I got 8x 32gb RDIMM of Micron 36ASF4G72PZ-3G2J3 that is on the compatibility list over 2-years ago and paid in the neighborhood of $80/module. I got some on eBay and some off ServerMonkey. Checking today and those same modules are going for $250+. Sorry.
i guess the Hynix D die with 'R'ambus RCD does not work good with EPYC and they do not recommend.
KSM32RD8/16HDR is EOL

ASRock - Server 1U10E-ROME/2T is compatible, and more ASRock SP3 boards.
the list of compatible ones includes only letter 'A'

I am seeing 00AD DEAD 0000 CCCC after trying to update the bios / performing CMOS reset
It originally was on v300 with epyc 7282 and 3x 64gb Samsung rdimm 2933, but i can not get it to boot anymore
Flashing any other version of bios didnot fix the issue.
Additionally the first flash i accidentally flashed the .zip instead of just the .rom file which resulted in FFFF but i was able to resolve that using the webflash of bios .rom file
Do you think this couldve done more damage thats not visible? (i also cant seem to be able to flash a bios using the bios recover option -> ctrl home leads to it saying starting recover but it ends the same with the DEAD Code)

file for BMC flash is *.hpm
i am surprised it accepts a zip file.
if i do that on ASRock Rack LGA4677 intel platform i can't flash BIOS anymore because this process need a functional ME/SPS machine working in the chipset. maybe AMD have similar situation and you need to flash with SPI programmer(test clamp or soldering)
