I purchased this server recently, 1U Quiet Homelab 8-Bay Server Tyan S5512 Home Media, Security, Gaming Server | eBay

This is my second time using a Tyan board, the first time was a while ago. For some odd reason, I can't get IPMI to work.

I've noticed,
- Server Mgmt in BIOS is completely BLANK
- "IPMI v0.0 Firmware V0.00 for S0000 without iKVM support" message shows on boot.

I've also tried installing IPMITool through CentOS but I'm just getting a message that reads "Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 or /dev/ipmidev/0: No such file or directory".

lm_sensors comes up with this when looking for IPMI,

Code:
Some systems (mainly servers) implement IPMI, a set of common interfaces
through which system health data may be retrieved, amongst other things.
We first try to get the information from SMBIOS. If we don't find it
there, we have to read from arbitrary I/O ports to probe for such
interfaces. This is normally safe. Do you want to scan for IPMI interfaces? (YES/no): yes
Found `IPMI BMC KCS' at 0xca8... Success!
(confidence 8, driver `to-be-written')
Nothing about BMC running on whatever IP is showing up during post. I'm not sure what to do. Is IPMI bricked on this board, should I RMA it?

EDIT* IPMI chip was busted, RMA'd for a new board. :)
