from what I saw it has a linux kernel module and a custom distri, but yeah,

gonna be interesting to see a direct comparison :)

a SUPER expensive (huge) Optane
A pair of even bigger pretty fast NVMe SSDs...
And a pair of $6000 CPUs..

Is this the smash-n-grab build..? Like ... the PROTEST SPECIAL ..?

Uh... UnRAID ..?
It supports tiered caching..?

I realize this thread has had many replies and has likely evolved to the point of making more sense, perhaps if you're looking for new participation, you might take a few moments to provide your updated rough-hardware list ...> your main post to better describe you goal:
