I just want to note that there is at least 2 versions of the same switch with same model number according to their website, and your review is about first version of it.
I actually bought this switch somewhere in spring this year and it's v2, which IS poe+, and to prove that I've been using mt crs305 with 3 ports SFP+ MM, one SFP MM and poe in from that switch. And as far as I can tell it never went offline. SFP non AOC/non-DAC eat more power too iirc. I should be around 15 or over, the cable length from the switch is a substantial 15+ meters cat6, therefore loss too. But it works. So you may want to alter that review to mention that you've reviewed v1 not the current model.
