I bought a XPG SSD. It failed within 24 hours. I have not had a SSD fail since the early days of OCZ.

the 8100 has always been a lower end realtek based drive. At least they're honest about it :)

Sale ends in 4 days, so clearly it's not today only :D Also, FYI $400 is a regular sales price on this drive. It's a nice enough NVME if you need 4TB of storage, it may not be the highest performer but the price is right.

Don't buy these if you care about sustained writes. Has a very small cache, after the drive is 25% full, write speeds drop from 3200 MB/sec to 240 MB/sec, and as low as 10 MB/sec for sustained writes. Bought a few when they were $399 at Newegg at the end of the year, at least they didn't hassle returning them.
